Responsibilities throughout the engagement
The client retains business authority. Zero Width Lab remains accountable for its recommendations and the work explicitly included in the signed scope.

Recommends viable architecture, builds and evaluates the agreed scope, reports failures and limits, and remains accountable for its technical work.
Client team
Owns the workflow, approved information, deployment and AI-provider choices, production accounts and credentials, business acceptance, and go-live authority.
Agreed together
Acceptance cases, information and authority boundaries, costs, monitoring, incident roles, rollout, rollback, support, and future changes are written down.
Agent Care follows production acceptance.

Security and client control
You decide where the agent runs, which AI it uses, and what information it can access.
Zero Width Lab presents viable options and technical tradeoffs. The client approves the deployment environment, model providers, information sources, storage, retention, access, and actions.
Information
The client decides which information the agent may use, what remains excluded, where information is processed or stored, and how long it is retained.
Deployment location
The client chooses where the agent runs: local or on-premises infrastructure, a client-controlled cloud, or another agreed environment.
AI model and provider
The client chooses local AI models, approved cloud AI services, or a mixed approach. Technical fit and provider implications are documented first.
Actions and approval
The client decides which systems and credentials are available, what the agent may or may not do, and where human approval is required.
Client information stays confidential.
Zero Width Lab uses only the information, systems, and providers authorized in the agreed scope. A public release, reusable edition, case study, or client attribution requires a separate written agreement. Credentials, customer records, and confidential client data are never public.
Initial services do not include autonomous medical, legal, credit, hiring, trading, purchasing, or other high-consequence decisions.
